Manyata

Hiii I'm Manyata!

A multidisciplinary designer. Artist. And a bit of a tinkerer.
My days move between disciplines - from Photoshop and UI/UX to coding, from wiring Arduinos to understanding human psychology. My evenings slow down into oil on canvas or charcoal-stained hands (I do clean up before my desk turns into a fossil site - I’m a bit of a clean freak). And my nights drift into reading - culture, history, and the quiet layers that shape how we live and see.

PULL TO CHANGE THE LIGHT
Geo-economic Transformation of the Fitness Industry
Service & Systems Design
Explored how geo-economic disruptions and shifting consumer behaviour transformed the global fitness ecosystem, using systems thinking to understand the relationship between physical gyms, digital platforms, people, resources, and external forces.
Cognitive Ergonomics Study of Cult.fit
UX Research & Service Experience
Investigated how users make decisions while moving between Cult.fit’s digital app and physical fitness centres, using cognitive ergonomics to understand the role of logic, intuition, and emotion across the service journey. The study was informed by interviews with users across different experience levels.
Digitalising the Shopping Cart Experience
Interaction & Product Design
Explored how real-time feedback can reduce decision fatigue and improve control during grocery shopping. The project examined existing shopping behaviours, pain points, and interaction gaps to rethink the cart as an active digital touchpoint rather than a passive carrier.
Portable Workstation for Flower Vendors
Ergonomic Product & User Research
A 1.5-year design research project studying the working conditions of flower vendors through field observation, workflow analysis, and contextual research. Insights into posture, workspace organisation, and repetitive hand-based tasks informed the development of a portable workstation designed around existing vendor practices.
